Betty Honkonen

1st Vice President

Betty Honkonen is a lifelong Democrat who has been actively involved in local politics since 2008, working for Obama, but increased her involvement in 2016 in support of Hillary Clinton. Betty is directly involved in the Democratic Women’s Club and in the Democratic Executive Committee in Citrus County. Her involvement  concentrates on organizing and training phone canvassers, fundraising, and other activities which work to ensure full access to voting and the prevention of voter suppression
